Interactive Storytelling

Welcome to

Never Too Old For STORIES!

Brighten a senior’s day who has dementia with a “live” interactive storytelling session!

Storyteller Christine with Billy the puppet

Through the online meeting program Zoom, your loved one will interact with professional storyteller Christine Henderson. Together they will sing songs, write a short story, chit chat, and Christine will also tell a few tales. (The story they create will be emailed to you.) Christine will use her puppets and have them interacting with the participant creating a delightful experience. Christine has done countless interactive storytelling programs with memory care residents at senior homes in the Kansas City area. Now, through Zoom, she can come do her program with your loved one. YOU can “tune in” to the storytelling also via the Zoom link and watch the good time being had. The interactive storytelling lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Make your gift even more special by having your loved one receive their very own puppet too. These puppets are designed in a way that makes them very easy to use. There are no confusing arm holes. Your hand goes in through the bottom and straight up into the head. They are easy to manipulate and to create fun expressions.

Puppets are a great way to have meaningful connections with someone experiencing memory loss. A brochure showing you many ways to use a puppet with someone who has dementia is included with each puppet purchase.
